All overseas Blue Shinra personnel are hereby ordered to return to the Eastern Continent immediately, especially those in Midgar, Junon, and Wutai. Also, Blue Shinra has decided not to go any further with the Gold Saucer's reconstruction. All Shinra personnel currently on Blue Shinra land are asked to leave immediately, or face severe consequences. Additionally, Blue Shinra is withdrawing funding for Provisional SOLDIER until further notice. Our relationship with AVALANCHE remains unchanged. Additionally, I would like for all Blue Shinra military officers to contact me personally in Nibelheim by next week. Cid and Saber, you're welcome to get in touch as well. Speaking of Cid, we are calling off our formal investigation until further notice. We will, however, continue to keep an eye out for Shera. And Cid, the job offer I made to you a long while back is still good, if you want it. Mayor Benny watches as the Blue Shinra engineers and workers pack up their gear and leave for their boat. The port is nothing more than a few makeshift piers and some concrete retaining walls. The Provisional SOLDIER guards are out in force, keeping order among the onlookers. ---------- Reeve posts: 363 (12/9/00 8:12:15 pm) The Turks in Wutai Reno, Elena, Rude, and Reeve sit at an isolated table at Turtle's Paradise. All are dressed in black suits with navy blue ties. All of them eat quietly, paying no mind to the various Wutai residents and Provisional SOLDIERs also in the restaurant. The Provos in particular look in the Turks' direction with an air of curiousity and resentment. Gorky, Shake, Chekov, and Staniv enter Turtle's Paradise. Reeve and the Turks stand. Gorky: We don't know what this is about... Reeve: Bull. Listen, Ninja, I am here to reclaim that which was originally mine. Gorky: Reeve, I'm afraid you're not making any sense-- Reeve: It's Ryoga, not Reeve! Gorky and the others gasp in suprise. A chattering noise, like a large flock of Chocobos, is heard outside. Chekov: Shinra said they had killed you... Reeve: You can't trust those liars. Even worthless Ninja like you should know that. Gorky, Chekov, and Shake attack Reeve, but are held off by the Turks. A riot breaks out in the restaurant. Drawing the Force Stealer, Reeve himself jumps into the fray, only to be stopped by Staniv. Staniv: (bows) My Lord, good to have you back. I am hear to serve. The Turks continue to fight off the Wutai residents and Provos. Reno: Reeve, a little help here! Reeve turns his head, just as two dozen Chocobos run into Turtle's Paradise, pecking and casting Chocobuckle onto the Turks' attackers. Reeve (to Staniv): Come with me. Reeve and Staniv run out the back door of the restaurant, fighting off various Ninja and Provos as they go. A regiment of Blue Shinra SOLDIERs arrives on the scene to continue the battle, as Reeve and Staniv make it back to a waiting airship. Reeve quickly introduces Staniv to Cait Sith and the crew from FORCE that pilot the ship. Reeve: Wait here. Jung immediately assembles the house guard while Sephiroth calls for reinforcements from other areas. "Jung, lead your men into the village and recon. I have a couple helicoptor units on the way. They'll be here soon." "Yes sir. Alright men, lets go," calls Jung. The men mount their chocobos and ride towards town. Jung has his men split up into several groups to circle the town. Jung and his group enter the village and creep towards the fighting. "Men, I see an airship towards the north. Lets head towards it. Vanick, hand me the radio." The radio man comes over and kneels next to Jung. "Sephiroth, Jung. I have an airship in sight. ETA reinforcements?" "Jung, Sephiroth. Helicoptors imbound, ETA five minutes." "Sephiroth, Jung. We're going to approach the airship and see whats up. Suggest you direct helo's to airship." "Acknowledged. Good luck." Jung and his men head for the airship. They turn a corner and see a group of Provos fighting some Blue Shinra SOLDIERs. He had been nervous when his people left to meet Reeve at the Turtle's Paradise. Now he is absolutely calm. A battle is raging only a small distance from Godo's pagoda. Hamato is here with is liege, as well as the military staff. Every Wutai Force unit in the area is converging on the village. It is only a matter of time. "Hamato, how long until our troops arrive." "Half hour or less, my lord." "Can you tell me any more about the battle?" "Lord, observers on the top floor are observing the battle. Hold on..... Lord we have word that the Provos are mounting a counter attack. A group has entered the village." Godo thinking..... "Let the Provos waste men." "Hamato, pull back all of our men who are not engaged. Let Sephiroth fight this battle for us." "Lord, this is a great danger. Should we not....." Godo cuts him off. "Hamato, if I wanted your advice, I would have asked for it." Hamato bows his head. They can see the fighting below them. From this height it is hard to tell who is who. One thing is certain. There is an airship hovering over the village, and that is their target. "This is Flight One, we have the target in sight. Weapons are free, I repeat, weapons are free. Engage the airship." The helos power up their missiles and machine guns. Radars lock on and infrared seekers find heat sources. The radio crackles..... "Flight One, be advised friendly forces are in the vicinity of your target. Visual ID needed for weapons release. Repeat, Visual IDs for release. Have a nice day." Connor looks over at Hiro... "This Flight One, take holding positions. He will be paying you for the next few days. Saber: Yes Sir. When does the next flight take off? Cid: 20 minutes hurry. Saber: Thank you sir, I'll stop the madness for the planet's sake. (Saber runs to his room and packs the few things he owns. He trudges down to the airport and hops onto a supply plane. In an hour he lands a few minutes from Wutai.) Saber: Soldier where's Ryoga? Soldier: Ryoga? Saber: Reeve! Where is he? Soldier: Oh..Over there. (Saber runs into a building and meets Reeve.) Saber: Ree...er Ryoga nice to see you again Reeve: Hello Saber follow me...you'll be commander of Blue Shinra infantry and land units. Saber: Okay ---------- Sephiroth9611 posts: 331 (12/9/00 10:39:17 pm) The Day of Blue Shinra's Invasion (Day 39) Sephiroth makes some final preparations and heads out of the command center. A platoon of newly arrived SOLDIERs from Base 000 are forming up for the trip into the village. Sephiroth walks over. "Who is in command here?" "I am sir, Walther, First Class." "Wrong, I am. Get the men in the trucks, we're going in." "Yes sir." The platoon gets in the trucks and they head off for Wutai village. They arrive at the outskirts by Sephiroth's house. "Walther, take the men and move in. Go house by house and check for Blue Shinra troops. I am going in to look for Reeve." "Yes sir." The SOLDIERs move off. Sephiroth walks up the road. As he gets closer to the battle, he takes cover behind a house and draws Masamune. "Just like old times, even the same place. Let's go find Reeve." Sephiroth heads for the Turtle's Paradise. Jung can hear helicoptors somewhere and he can see where men are moving to and from the airship. Between Jung and the airship is a couple Blue Shinra units. Jung decides to wait for the helos to attack. ---------- Reeve posts: 368 (12/9/00 11:09:44 pm) Leviathan Reeve and Saber make their way toward Godo's palace. Reeve: I hope the Turks are ok... Saber: Look, isn't that Sephiroth? Reeve looks toward Turtle's Paradise. A tall figure with flowing grey hair was investigating the building. Sephiroth looks up and sees Reeve and Saber. Reeve: Hurry! Reeve and Saber run and find the secret passage to the Leviathan Shrine underneath Lord Godo's house. They stealthily sneak through the corridors until they reach the main hallway. Saber strikes down three Godo loyalists as they search the house. Reaching the koi pond, a ninja sneaks up behind Reeve; as the ninja reaches out to grab him, Reeve whirls around and plunges the Force Stealer into his chest. Reeve: Let's continue. The combatants around him tend to draw away, for even in the heat of combat, they remember childhood stories of the Great Sephiroth in the Wutat War. Because of this, Sephiroth comes unscathed to Godo's house. He moves through the corridors, searching. There is sounds of battle ahead. Sephiroth rounds a corner to find a dead body, a fresh wound to the chest still spurting blood. ****** The radio crackles... "This is command. We have received word that all friendlies have moved away from the vicinity. Fire at will, repeat, fire at will." Connor and Hiro look at each other. "This is Flight One, weapons away!" Cait Sith: Damn Provos. They should stay out of this. Staniv: So... Lord Ryoga is back... Cait Sith: Yes. Ryoga is out for revenge. But someone is in his way... The crew of the Ilfana look to Cait Sith for directions. Cait Sith: Stay here. And don't attack unless we're hit first. ---------- Reeve posts: 375 (12/10/00 11:01:06 am) The Final Confrontation A tall cloaked figure continues to roam the hallways of Lord Godo's house. He hears a scream coming from a hidden corridor and runs toward it. Finding the secret passage, he comes to a large war room, where Reeve and Saber stand over the limp figure of Lord Godo. The two men part to let the cloaked figure examine Wutai's dying ruler; as the figure attempts to cast Cure on Godo, a sharp blade is thrust at his throat. The figure looks up to see Reeve, an angry fire in his eyes, holding out the Force Stealer. Reeve: Stay out of this, Sephiroth. Wutai shall be mine. Sephiroth stands and looks at the Blue Shinra president. Sephiroth: Since when did you become so power hungry?... Reeve:... Reeve slashes at Godo yet again. Godo dies. Reeve points his sword back at Sephiroth. Reeve: Again, I warn you. Sephiroth stands there looking at the limp form of Godo when something catches his eye. Without looking up, Sephiroth uses Masamune to push the Force Steeler away from him, then backs up slowly. "So, Ryoga has returned to claim his birthright. I should have known this would happen. Who was it who told you? Domino? It doesn't matter." Sephiroth has now backed up to the door. "In any case, I would say you have other things to worry about." At that instant, Yuffie jumps down from the rafters, knocking Saber to the floor, unconscious. "YOU KILLED MY FATHER!" All members on the eastern continent are to go to Junon imediately, you will be provided with transportation to the northern continent. All Force members on the greater continent are to go to Costa Del Sol imediately, transportation will also be provided for you as well. All Members in the Southern islands are to report to the nearest bayport and go to Planet Port imediately. this is urgent, all FORCE members must abort all actions and report to the Northern Continent imediately. Embassies are to be abandoned for the time being, there are issues at hand. **trannmission diconnected** **a previous message to FORCE in Wutai that was transmitted yesturday** FORCE of Wutai, please abandon you post, it is urgent, Wutai is about to undergo a war, we need to get out or there now!! go south to the godon plateau, an airship will be there for you. With one exception, Shake, i know your listening to this. you've done well so far but your mission is not over. I order you to stop fighting and head to the Weapon shop imediatley. We here have reason to belive that Shera is being held there. Our detective have discoverd that the three items found at Shera's house in rocket town are made in Wutai. If you find the subject go directly to the Blue Shinra Airship, you will be transported from there and brought to the Northern Continent. **transmission disconnected** ---------- SOLDIER officer 81 posts: 235 (12/10/00 1:09:30 pm) It is the end, the end. Hamato is standing with the guards of the prisoner in the Weapons Shop. Gorky, fresh from the battle, runs in. "Blue Shinra forces are heading this way, Lord Godo has ordered the execution of the prisoner." Hamato looks down at the woman. She is tied and gagged. Hamato looks into her eyes and sees the terror. Her eyes plead for mercy. Hamato has the guards bring the prisoner to her knees with her head bent. Hamato raises his katana. He looks down the back of her neck. He swings the katana down and to the side, right into Gorky's abdomen. Gorky's face registers surprise just before it goes slack. Hamato's hand-picked guards pick up Shera and Hamato leads them out into the fray. ---------- Saber posts: 150 (12/10/00 1:52:10 pm) Re: It is the end, the end. (Saber, knocked out, is laying along a heating vent.) Yuffie: DIE RYOGA! DIE (Yuffie swings the Conformer at her foe.) Reeve: Ah! Watch it! Yuffie: Die! (Saber begins waking up. His eyes slowly open to see Yuffie swinging the Conformer at Reeve. Saber unleashes his sword and grabs his hatchet. He throws the hatchet into the Conformer and it is knocked out of Yuffie's hands. Saber swings his sword at her barely missing.) Saber: Yuffie Don't move. Sephroith you neither. (Saber picks up the Force Stealer and tosses it to Reeve. Yuffie swings around and with lightning speed kicks Saber's legs out from under him. She jumps straight up in the air to the rafters and through a secret door. Sephiroth looks at Reeve and Saber. "Nice move, you lost her that easily, huh? I must go myself." Sephiroth grabs the doorknob and slams it shut behind him as he goes out into the corridor. He runs through the house and out into the battle that has made its way to the Pagoda. A Provo runs up to him. "Sir, we are holding our position at the pagoda." "Hold your position as long as possible, then fall back to the port where transports will be waiting." "Yes sir!" Sephiroth heads back down to the village to find Jung and a radio. ---------- Reeve posts: 377 (12/10/00 2:51:01 pm) Re: In the War Room... Reeve and Saber run out to the balcony on the second floor. A FORCE messenger comes up to Saber and gives him a copy of Cid's transmission. Saber pauses to read it as Reeve continues outside. Reeve pulls out the Starlight Phone and switches it to Announcement mode. Reeve: Attention Citizens of Wutai. I, your true leader Lord Ryoga Amano, has returned! Just then, a green airship flies over, dropping two small bombs. The bombs send clouds of gas over the entire city. Reeve runs back inside quickly and locks the door. Reeve (to Saber): Someone has dropped some sort of gas bomb on the city. We need to find some masks and investigate. There seems to be another party getting involved.
