Blue Shinra
Appendix: Selected Reference Materials From the Post-Meteor Roleplay
As stated in the Acknoledgements, Blue Shinra is based off of a roleplay that took place on the Final Fantasy VII Citadel. The roleplay took place between November 2, 2000 and ended on the Citadel on December 31, 2000. It was later continued on SOLDIER Officer 81's messageboard, but languished due to waning interest.
What follows are archived .txt files of many of the original Post-Meteor roleplay posts. They were originally preserved as source material for the FF7 Citadel's Roleplay archive, but were also put to use in the writing of Blue Shinra. All of the posts chosen for inclusion are here because they contributed, one way or another, to the shaping of Blue Shinra.

EFA
This thread is the very first one from the Post-Meteor roleplay. Although we were not to officially start roleplaying until January 1, BlueJay posted this scenario. I was the first one to jump in and interact, followed closely behind by President Shinra and Tseng (Darwin/Tseng). As you can see, many of the earlier Blue Shinra storylines originated with this thread.
Cid's Journal
The first posts with Cid (played by Cid H.). This thread also began the interaction between Cid and Zack (SOLDIER Zack).
A Message From President Reeve
The first of many Messages, this was the one that announced the creation of the Blue Shinra Utility Company. More notably, it is the thread that started off the Shinra/Blue Shinra war, which is retold in the fanfic as Chapter Three: Corporate Rivalry.
Night in the Canyon
This was the thread that started the Post-Meteor RP's most notable story arc: the Huge Materia crisis. Saber, who has already left Gold Saucer, appears in this thread.
Proud Clod Massacre!
The destruction of Shinra's Proud Clod factory. A continuation of the Shinra/Blue Shinra war which was started in "A Message From President Reeve".
EFA Bulletin (All people read.)
In this thread, BlueJay claimed to have some of Reeve's Scarlett Nanobots in his possession, plus claimed to have retrieved the Huge Materia (note Tseng's discontent with this scenario). Toward the end, BlueJay gives some insight into who he is and what he's about.
The Return (parts one and two)
Sephiroth (Sephiroth9611) and Jung (SOLDIEROfficer81) officially join the roleplay. Note the out-of-character (OOC) comments by BlueJay and myself. At the time, I thought I could see where Seph9611 was going with his posts (unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what I was thinking at the time).
An Important Message From President Reeve (parts one and two)
I clear up the misunderstandings between BlueJay and Tseng with this announcement, where I reveal that the Huge Materia the Nexus recovered were fakes. Note the references to Lord Cosmos in this thread. Also note that Saber first appears in Nibelheim in this thread. By the way, the references to Mideel are a part of a storyline that was quickly abandoned.

Wutai War II breaks out as Reeve flips out. Note that in the original RP, Sephiroth and Jung had begun an army known as Provisional SOLDIER and had become involved in the defense of Wutai.
